Review Board Announcement
Posted on 2024-06-28Dear CRAE readership community:
We are excited to announce our new editorial board composed of artist scholars and researchers from across Canada (and those with a connection to Canada) who have an active research/artistic and publishing practice in Art Education. We have emphasized diversity by prioritizing First Peoples, French as a first language, LGBTQ2S+, People of Colour, and Differing Abilities scholars in Art Education research and scholarship as well scholars with a diversity of methodological practices. We have also aimed to develop a board with geographic representation from universities across Canada. Our new board is comprised of 14 reviewers, who have committed to a 3 year term. In addition to providing peer review, the board will be called on for guidance with special issues as well as to assist in occasional reviews of the publishing process at CRAE. We want to welcome our board members and thank them for their ongoing commitment to Art Education research and scholarly practices in Canada.
We are also excited to announce our new Managing Editor, Yasaman (Yasi) Moussavi-a PhD candidate from the University of British Columbia. Yasi is replacing our current Managing Editor, Abena Gyimah, who is leaving CRAE as she completes her PhD at Memorial University. We want to thank Abena for her work and service as Managing Editor and we wish her all the luck in the world in her new adventures.
