The Canadian Review of Art Education / Revue canadienne d’éducation artistique (CRAE/ RCEA) invites researchers, educators, artists, and practitioners in art education to submit their contributions to our upcoming peer-review publication focused on art education research and practice. CRAE/RCEA is a refereed journal published annually by the Canadian Society for Education through Art / Société canadienne d’éducation par l’art (CSEA/SCÉA). Authors may submit well-crafted manuscripts in English or French on research or issues of interest and benefit to Canadian art educators. We welcome manuscripts that reflect diverse contexts, perspectives, and methodologies.

Submission Guidelines:
Journal articles should be from 6000 to 8000 words, including an abstract (of no more than 100 words) and references. The body text is single-spaced, justified, Times New Roman, 12pt font. The article should not include page numbers. Please ensure that in-text and reference citations follow APA 7. The use of images is highly encouraged (300 dpi minimum please). Please consult previous articles to follow the same format (please note the drop cap letter at the beginning of the article). All manuscripts should be carefully prepared for double-blind review. This means that manuscripts do not include the author name(s), institution(s), or other identifying features. Please follow the Ensuring a Blind Review steps listed on the website.  We anticipate a publication date in the fall of 2024.
