Résumé
Le développement des habiletés créatrices est le principal objectif des systèmes d’éducation à l’échelle mondiale.Cet article exploite les données fournies par quatre enseignantes en arts visuels, de la maternelle à la 12e année, pour illustrer les stratégies pédagogiques utilisées pour favoriser le développement créatif de la clientèle étudiante. Nous nous servons de la théorie componentielle de création de Teresa Amabile pour cerner les approches du corps enseignanten matière de développement des habiletés créatrices et identifier la façon dont elles favorisent chez l’étudiante et l’étudiant la motivation, les habiletés ciblées et les processus de création. En introduisant ainsi les stratégies d’enseignement, nous souhaitonsaider les éducatrices et éducateurs d’art à reconnaître, façonner et améliorer la façon dont leurs approches pédagogiques peuvent contribuer au développement de la créativité étudiante en classe d’arts visuels.
